Employment and independent security partner opportunities

Candidates interested in becoming employees with HMS Protection as the primary source of income:
We offer employment opportunities to officers under direct control and supervision of our management. Qualified officers must be willing to follow strict time and attendance, not work for any other competitor in our industry, adhere to governing policy, post orders, training, employment policy manuals and handbooks. Employment opportunities for anyone with experience interested in committing to working solely with our organization.  All candidates are asked to meet the minimum qualifications stated below.

Opportunities for independent security partners and small business operators: 

  • Need extra work?

  • Have a small business or randomly take jobs at multiple security firms?

  • Do you have a valid professional license? (Mandatory requirement)

  • Do you have insurance? (Mandatory requirement)

  • Do you have at least 10 years of experience working in our market sectors?

  • Can you carry out tasks independently without supervision in the most professional approach?

  • Are you trained to observe, report and manage a diversity of situations?

  • Are you unable to commit to a set schedule?

  • Need flexibility?

  • Want the ability to cancel job commitments without reprimand or affecting your ability to pick up jobs at your will?


If any of the above criteria apply to you, then the independent security partner is an excellent way to establish an independent agreement and use HMS Protection as an additional source of income or to pick up jobs when you need extra income.


While you remain an active as an independent partner you can accept and decline contract opportunities at your will using our app. 


All potential employees and independent security partners must meet or exceed the following minimum qualification requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the security field preferably working with a national firm

  • (10 years for independent security partners). 

  • Minimum age of 18

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

  • High school diploma, or GED within 6 months of hire 

  • A reliable means of transportation and communication (ie. Smartphone)

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Participate in the pre-screening process (drug screening, background checks, credential validation, etc)

  • During your performance with HMS Protection: You must be willing to participate in random drug screenings.
